This is not something you can just put the key in and drive off.
While it has a sink, stove, and bathroom, or at least toilet, it needs
windows, brush clearing, a little spade work to fill a small washout,
remouting of two tires, and some engine work before you can drive
it out. And oh yes, a key.
The GM V6 engine is missing the carburetor. A Holley would probably work. One person
tried to turn the engine over by hand; but it would not turn. That's by hand; he did not
bring a battery to try the starter.
Yes, it's work. But after you are done, you will have an RV.
Email the webmaster at this site with your phone number, and a little bit about how you
PLAN to remove it, what you need to know to refine your plan, and what you plan to do with it.
We've had a number of people say sure, they'll take it; but they have no idea how, and
thus have shown no action. The vehicle has two flat tires, and is backed up against a hefty
tree we are not going to cut, and is hemmed in by heavy brush. You will need to cut the brush
in front of this bus and make it move forward before you can pull or drive it backward. Or
pull it sideways, which is a risk for the old underinflated tires. Tell me what equipment you
have, what your experience is, how you plan to move it.
Someone will get this vehicle. It might be you.
We also have a Free Truck in similar condition.
